I had photographed Charles & Ellen’s surprise proposal the previous year in the fall and Ellen wanted some spring photos for their save-the-date invitation. I had a lot of fun capturing their surprise engagement as the two of them are super silly. I knew this session would be great as well. Ellen suggested Pitt Lake in Pitt Meadows for the engagement photos which was an excellent choice for some spring photos. The location is a bit far from Vancouver but if you’re willing to drive out to Pitt Lake on a beautiful day, you will be rewarded with some amazing photos. It’s a very popular place for engagement photographers in Vancouver. The light is just gorgeous during sunset. The mountains and lake make for some the best engagement photos in Vancouver. That can be said about almost any location around Vancouver or BC!
