Earlier in the year Aida reached out to me and asked if I’d be free to shoot her and James’ very private wedding at the Furry Creek Golf Course. She had gone through my site and liked what she saw and thought I’d be great to capture their special day. It was just going to be her, James, and her two parents. I knew the golf course but had never photographed anything at the golf course. Small weddings are becoming one of my favourite types to capture as it gives me more time to tell a story and I get to know the couple and the people who matter most to them. Small wedding, great location, and Aida already liked my work so of course I said yes. For those of you don’t know, Furry Creek Golf Course is about half way between Vancouver and Squamish along the Sea to Sky highway and has some of the most beautiful panoramic views of the ocean.
